Enterprise Resources

Before you begin to work with enterprise resources, be sure you understand scenario resource models as explained in Resources and Resource Types.

Every Process or BPMN-type diagram contains a default scenario with default resource model data that defines which resources are available and how they are used in the process (see Scenarios.)

If a scenario contains a resource you have created, you can link that resource to the repository to more easily manage global changes to data used by multiple diagrams. For example, in multiple diagrams across multiple documents, you can add a swimlane that is attached to an organization in the repository's enterprise resources. If you change the name of the organization in the repository and then update the scenario resource model, the name of the swimlane changes in all diagrams.
