Welcome to iGrafx Help. This documentation is for users of iGrafx® FlowCharter®, iGrafx® Process™, and iGrafx® Process™ for Six Sigma™. This iGrafx Help system provides overview, procedural, and reference information for these products, and describes functionality that is unlocked when they are used in conjunction with the iGrafx® platform. Please note that many dialog boxes within iGrafx have a Help button which will display context-sensitive help specific to that dialog box or topic.
This Getting Started section of the Help is your guide to using iGrafx. Topics covered include an overview of The iGrafx Editor windows, procedures for how to Create a Map, Diagram, or Flowchart, Create a Lean Value Stream Map, Create a BPMN Diagram, or create other diagram types. Beyond FlowCharting, there is information on Modeling and Simulation and Six Sigma Functionality in iGrafx. Information on how to Publish a Document to share your work with others is given. There is also information on Tips, Shortcuts, and Context Menus to accelerate your work.
We encourage you to use the Contents and Index tabs at the left of the Help pages to get an overview of—and to access—topics in this Help, and to use the Search box to find information you are looking for if you cannot find it in the Contents, Index, or by clicking the Help button in a dialog box. If you don’t see the Contents and Index tabs, you may need to resize your browser window.
Please also see the Other Help Resources topic in this Help for a list of the other resources beyond the Help system available to help you with iGrafx. If you want a step-by-step guide to working with iGrafx, you may access the iGrafx Tutorials—and other resources (such as the Knowledge Base)—on the iGrafx web site.
The sections in this Help on Modeling for Simulation and Running a Process Simulation are specifically for users of Process and Process for Six Sigma. The sections on Collaboartion, Enterprise Architecture, SAP, and Automation are specifically for users that have access to the repository-based iGrafx platform. You must have the appropriate products installed to be able to use the features detailed in those topics.
Help systems for iGrafx® Enterprise Modeler® and iGrafx® Enterprise Modeler Server™ are included with those products. For information on product features, benefits, and uses, please visit the products page on the iGrafx website.
