Organizations in the Enterprise Resources

Enterprise Resources having a resource type of Organization, or sub-types of Organization, differ from non-organizations in that they have only one setting or property, their resource type. Use the Allocate command to associate non-organization resources (which have Hourly Rate, Availability, and other settings) to the organization. For example, a Marketing organization can be defined but unable to perform activities until Person resources are allocated to it. iGrafx Clients such as iGrafx Process can attach enterprise resources and simulate activities being worked on. For example, during a process simulation, the “write ad” activity could acquire Person resources allocated to the Marketing organization.
