Accumulate Custom Data in the current diagram

From the Insert menu, choose Custom Data Summary.

Note: Any data in this diagram that has been accumulated from other diagrams will be included in the Summary for this diagram.

Accumulate Custom Data from another diagram

1. Select the shape in the diagram.

2. On the Insert menu, choose Link.

3. In the Add Link dialog box, select the Accumulate Custom Data From Diagram check box.

4. Choose the diagram to link to from the Diagram Name list.

Note: If the diagram is not in the list (has not yet been created), then type a diagram name, and when you click OK you will be prompted if you want to create a diagram. Choose Yes when prompted to create a new diagram.

5. Click OK.

Add accumulation to an existing link

1. Right-click the shape in the diagram and choose Properties.

2. In the Properties dialog box, click the Link page.

3. Select the link and click the Edit button.

4. In the Change Link dialog box, select the Accumulate Custom Data From Diagram check box.

5. Click OK.

Set up time conversions

This procedure configures time conversions, such as days to months, so that accumulation can adjust time units from other diagrams.

1. On the Tools menu, choose Setup Custom Data.

2. In the Setup Custom Data dialog box, click the Options button and specify the time conversions.
