iGrafx sheet sorting behavior is much like Microsoft® Excel, with some exceptions:
When data is sorted in iGrafx sheets, the entire rows are sorted, not just the selected range. For example, if you select cells A1 through A5 and sort them, B1:B5, C1:C5, D1:D5, and so on, are also sorted. In Excel, only the selected cells are sorted.
If you select a number of cells to sort and they are in the same row or column as a portion of a named range, the sort option is not available. Selected rows must extend across all or none of the named range to allow sorting.

Click a row or column selection cell at the far left or top of the sheet. |
Add or delete rows or columns |
Select a row or column and choose a command on the Sheet menu. If you add a row below the last row in the sheet, in the Insert Rows dialog box, leave the Add new rows outside existing ranges check box clear to inherit formatting from the selected cell or row on the new row. |

Move rows and columns |
Click and drag a row to move it to another position on the sheet. In a basic sheet or prioritization matrix, you can click and drag columns to another position on the sheet. |
