Properties dialog box - Lean Data page

Right-click on an object and choose Properties. Or, with the object selected, on the Edit menu, choose Properties to open the Properties dialog box.

Choose whether to use Lean Data or Rollup Data. Lean Data allows you to enter data in this shape. Rollup Data will roll-up the data from the specified Timeline in the chosen VSM diagram.

Value stream maps use custom data elements explained in Lean Data Reference for calculations in the Timeline and for accumulated data on shapes.

Default custom data display settings apply to the entire document. Click a Lean data element heading in this dialog box and select the Override Custom Data Block Field Display check box to display the value on the Lean diagram. If the data element is calculated, you can select the Override Calculated Value check box to make the data field editable. An asterisk (*) indicates changes to default display.
