The Task page contains a Step tab that specifies how to perform the activity task, including its duration, references to any sub-process, cost, value classification, capacity, etc. There are three types of behavior that the Step tab of the Task page may specify, each affecting the statistics reported after a simulation run:
Work: Time spent doing Work. The duration typically requires a resource to perform the task.
Delay: A delay, or Blocked time. The duration typically does not require a resource.
Process: This activity references another process. The transaction is sent to that process, and will proceed from this activity based on the conditions set.
The Task page also has an On Completion tab that specifies any tasks that are to be performed on completion of the task, which is detailed in the On Completion Tasks topic.
