Home > Process Behavior Procedures and Reference > Define Activity Outputs
Activity outputs determine how a transaction leaves an activity and where it goes next. On a decision shape, case text appears as labels on the respective outputs of shapes with decision behavior. To move case text, click and drag it to another location in the diagram. If you want to break the text association with the original output connector line, modify the properties in the Properties dialog box - Outputs page.
By default, the diamond shape has a decision behavior specified and the first line you draw to another activity is labeled No.
Real-time checking (on the View menu) finds unconnected decision shapes and exception cases. iGrafx recommends that you leave Real-Time Checking enabled.
For each procedure below:
Double-click a shape for which you want to create decision output.
In the Properties dialog box, click the Outputs page, then click the Normal tab.

If this check box is clear, all paths are taken as the transaction leaves the activity, which means that the transactions are duplicated. |

Choose Available in the drop-down list and click OK. If the input receiving shape has more than one input, a simulation error occurs. |
