Move by dragging

1. Click the swimlane name area.

2. Place the cursor directly over the selection outline until the cursor changes to cross arrows.

3. Click and drag the swimlane up or down to the desired placement and release the mouse button to finish.

Move a swimlane

1. Right-click the swimlane name area and choose Move Swimlane, or select the swimlane name area, click the  tool on the Toolbox toolbar, and choose Move Swimlane.

2. In the Move Swimlane dialog box, select a Move To location and specify a swimlane in relation to the swimlane you are moving.

3. Click OK.

You could also use the Swimlane Manager to reposition a swimlane within a diagram.
