Schedule Cycles

Choose a radio button option:

  • None: No cycle is scheduled.

  • Every: A uniform amount of time after the last cycle completes. Choose a number of days, weeks, or years after a cycle completes to start the next cycle. For example, every 60 days (about 2 months) after the last cycle completed.

  • On: A specific date, or regularly recurring (repeating) dates. Choose the date, from the drop-down control, to schedule the next cycle. You may optionally click the Recurring cycle option and click the Settings button to schedule a repeating pattern in the Cycle Recurrence dialog box.

Options to start cycle

You may either start the cycle manually, or have the cycle automatically started for you. The options are:

  • Send notice to scheduler to manually start cycle: An email is sent to the scheduler notifying them that it is time to start the cycle.

  • Automatically start cycle: The cycle will automatically be started for the scheduler. The additional options are:

  • Remind users of pending actions...: You may choose to send automatic reminders to cycle participants that they have pending actions on a recurring schedule using the number of days you specify.

  • Send notice to scheduler when cycle is started: If MailCentral is configured, the scheduler (the user listed in the Scheduled by field) will be notified by email that the cycle has started.

  • Set the Approved version to None: If this is an Approval cycle, you may indicate there is no approved version of this document when the new Approval cycle is started.
