Description |
Location |
Sets the scope, or extent, of an attribute. If you create an attribute with a Transaction location, for example, the attribute definition extends to all transactions. Each transaction can carry its own unique value for the attribute. |
Attribute name |
Attribute names must begin with a letter. The name can contain up to 32 alphanumeric characters, including underscore but not spaces. They are case sensitive and must be unique within each location. |
Attribute type |
The type of an attribute determines its range of possible values. Number–Sets the value of any real number (to 15-digit precision) or a string. YesNo–Has a value of Yes (1) or No (0). TrueFalse–The attribute can either have a value of False (equal to 0) or True (1). You can also create your own types. See Attribute and Function Types |
Value contains text |
Used when iGrafx data is exported in XML format, and does not impact simulation. Specifies that the value is expected to contain a text string, even if it looks like a number. |

This option is only available for resource attributes. Select this check box to set the resource attribute to be unique for different organizations. To access this type of resource attribute, you must provide the full path of the resource. See Activity and Resource Attributes in Array Indices. |
