Grouping is similar to batching, but it creates a loose collection of separate transactions under a common name that can be collected later in the process. Use grouping to collect the same set of independent transactions in multiple places. Batching is more commonly used than Grouping.
iGrafx provides a default group name that you can use for most cases, or you can use the Define Transaction Groups dialog box to create a specific group name. Later, you can collect the same set of transactions by using the Entire Group collection method.
