Synchronizing Enterprise Modeler (EM) and an iGrafx repository changes object data to the latest state in each application. Updates are made to both the repository and the model open in Enterprise Modeler.

Objects Synchronized Between iGrafx Repositories and Enterprise Modeler

The following table shows which repository enterprise objects and Enterprise Modeler objects are synchronized:

These Repository Enterprise Objects...	Are Called This in Enterprise Modeler (and stored in this Folder)...	And have this function...
Strategies, Goals, Roll-up Performance Indicators	Strategies, Goals	Describe Business Objectives that can be related to other objects in the model and measured by Performance Indicators that may exist elsewhere in the model.
Performance Indicators	Measurements	Describe specific measurements on the enterprise, such as inventory level.
Requirements	Requirements	Statement of an expectation to be fulfilled.
Business Rules	Validation Topics (Business Rules)	The controls on the enterprise. Actions required to control, or the audit for, compliance.
Processes, Activities	Processes, Activities (Processes)	A sequence of operations and events that produce an outcome.
Resources	Resources	Resources are used to perform or support processes and activities.
Interfaces, Services, Operations	Interfaces	Describe the interface, services (e.g. web services), and operations performed by a system.
Work Products	Work Products	Goods, information, or data that are inputs or outputs to processes or activities.
Classes	Classes	Programmatic classes.
Risk Templates	Risk Catalogue	Describe a type of risk and provide value limits.
