Value Stream Map Properties dialog box - Lean Timelines - Graph tab

Available for the active Timeline from the Lean menu, or when you right-click on a Lean diagram, by choosing Value Stream Map Properties and then clicking the Graph tab.

The Work Balancing Graph displays a graph of Production Time at each activity or step in the Value Stream, in relation to Takt Time. The graph automatically updates when changes are made to the value stream map data that impact Production Time at a step. Production Time at a step is the time between each piece being produced. Element

Description

Show Work Balancing Graph

Turns display of the Work Balancing Graph on or off. Check the box to display the graph and enable other options.

Display Data

What data to show in the graph. Total Production Time, or show the relative portion of NVA and optionally VA time as part of the total.

Display Format

Choose the formatting of data, including units and precision.

Display Names

Display the shape name (text) below each entry

Display Takt Time Data

Show the Takt Time on the graph, to help understand how each step in the process compares against Takt Time.
