Value stream mapping (VSM) typically models the processes at a single factory or location. You can use extended value stream mapping capabilities in iGrafx to create a higher-level view of operations that includes other factories and vendors, for example.

iGrafx also supports VSM and extended VSM with Timeline accumulation and VSM roll-up of a child map on an extended VSM shape. You can accumulate data for any custom data defined in the Setup Custom Data dialog box. You may also have multiple Timelines in a single VSM, and choose which Timeline to roll-up from a child VSM.
